POTENTTHCSEEDS

Researchers classify cannabis into chemotypes according to the ratio of the two dominant cannabinoids. Plants grown from thc-rich cannabis seeds fall into chemotype I, where THC clearly dominates and CBD rarely exceeds one percent, while balanced and CBD-dominant types make up the other two groups. This ratio is controlled by a small number of genes, which is why breeders can select for it with reasonable precision across generations. The classification says nothing about terpene content, so two chemotype I strains may still smell and feel quite different.
